Visual Quality Assurance Processes
Collaborative developed our process, with Confluence documentation. Held workshops to train on process and to iterate based on feedback from team.
Severity and Risk Matrix for Visual Defects
I developed a custom severity and risk matrix that informed how engineering and product would prioritized a visual defect. This matrix took into consideration business needs as well as cross-collaboration across teams to implement a practical way to assess VQA in terms that were standardized.
Impact
Enabled designers a standardized way to communicate defects and enabled the engineering team to prioritize issues based on their potential impact on user experience.

Design System Reviews and Audits
Conducted regular reviews and audits of the design system and its components.
Held regular playbook meetings to gather feedback on current and proposed components.
Communicated best practices and updates/changes to design subsystem

Release Cycle and Approval Process
Worked back with engineering, product, and program managers to refine our release cycle and approval process. Trained design team on process, and iterated based on feedback from them and engineers.
Created a booking system for review session with core team that streamlined review requests.
